The food gases are supplied to the food industry as additives, supports or in contact with food ingredients and as such must comply with very strict standards in order to come into contact with foodstuffs and therefore in order to ensure food security.
The most traded additives are:
-E290 (carbon dioxide)
These have been processed following the relevant legislation which is inspired by the White Paper on Food Safety, published in 2000 by the European Commission, EC Regulation 178 of 2002, and any other industry directives respecting precise rules on labeling, the criteria of purity and hygiene.
In particular carbon dioxide E290 becomes for Euro Ossigeno one of the core business, as it is extracted directly from the subsoil at the facility of primary production site in the province of Naples (located in Torre Annunziata) thanks to the scrupulous work of our highly specialized staff .
In addition, Euro Ossigeno workshop is authorized by the Campania Region for secondary production and distribution of food additives (carbon dioxide (E290) – nitrogen (E941) – oxygen (E948)).
